Aarogya Setu App
This app is basically a mobile app to track the spread of Coronavirus. This app help people in in identifying the risk of coronavirus infection. Once the app is installed in a smart phone it detects other nearby devices which has the same app installed. The app then calculates and detects the risk of infection and if any of the contacts has been tested positive for Coronavirus. With the help of this app Government will be able to take necessary and timely steps for assessing the risk of spread of the virus.
This is a whatsapp chatbot that is there on the mygov.in website so that people those who have any queries related to coronavirus can enquire and they will get authentic answers via this. The number for this chatbot is +91 90131 51515. Moreover, there is also a helpline number given on the website for any query related to coronavirus.

This application is to get direct feedback from patients those who have undergone treatment of coronavirus in the country.
Initiatives Launched by State Governments to Counter COVID-19 Pandemic
Even at the state level, state governments have also taken lot of measures in order to counter this pandemic situation. Some of the important initiatives taken by the state governments are mentioned below:
The government of Kerala launched a mobile application called GoK Direct which is for the users from which they can get direct information and updates related to Coronavirus. This initiative was taken by the Kerala Startup Mission and the Information and Public Relations Department.
COVID-19 Quarantine Monitor which is an application that keeps a check on the people under home quarantine is launched. It keeps an eye on the people who are home quarantined so that they don’t violate any rule.
More than one application has been launched. Quarantine Watch is a similar application to the above mentioned COVID-19 Quarantine Monitor. This monitors people under home quarantine so that no rule is being broken by them that can make the situation even worse in these states.
There is one more application developed by the Karnataka Geographic Information System Agency which features a map highlighting all spots that a Coronavirus infected patient has visited before they were diagnosed.
Cova Punjab was launched and is not only a coronavirus tracker, but this application can also be used to obtain curfew passes and it even reports large people gatherings.
National Capital Region (NCR)
Noida Authority Apurti Suvidha application is launched which is used for the home delivery of essential goods to the residents.
An application named ‘Mahakavach’ which is used in order to trace the contact history of COVID-19 patients. It finds out the places which they have visited before the virus was detected in them. Sources in the Maharashtra government has confirmed that the application will only be used by the government and will not be accessible to everyone.
