Difference between Mock Test and Live Test

A Live Test differs significantly from a normal mock test in terms of duration, competitiveness, and result declaration. A Live Test is conducted for a limited time span, typically around 48 hours, and the scores and ranks of all aspirants are released at a pre-defined time. This format closely simulates the real exam environment, creating a sense of urgency and healthy competition among candidates. In contrast, a normal mock test remains accessible for an extended period, usually up to six months, and ranks continue to change as more aspirants attempt the test over time. Therefore, while normal mocks are ideal for flexible practice, Live Tests provide a more realistic exam-like experience with fixed timelines and structured result announcements.
