The Bank of Maharashtra Generalist Officer 2025 selection process is made to test both knowledge and personality. The first stage is an online objective test carrying 150 marks, which will assess a candidate’s proficiency in relevant subjects and banking knowledge. Based on the marks obtained in this exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage, the interview, in a 1:3 ratio. The interview aims to evaluate communication skills, confidence, and suitability for the role. For the final selection, scores from both stages will be combined with a 75% weightage for the online exam and 25% for the interview.
The salary for Bank of Maharashtra Generalist Officer Scale II in 2025 is highly attractive.The pay scale is ₹64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960, along with various allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or lease rental, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), medical benefits, and other perks depending on the posting location. Selected candidates will be on a probation period of six months, after which their services will be confirmed based on satisfactory performance.
