Bank Exam Preparation 2025 Overview

Bank Exam Preparation Tips

The candidates must go through the preparation tips for bank exams to get clarity and start their preparation in an effective way.

  1. Understand the Exam Pattern: The candidates must understand the exam pattern and syllabus of the exam and then start their preparation accordingly.
  2. Complete Syllabus: It is important to learn each topic mentioned in the syllabus and practice each topic until you remember it.
  3. Make Notes of Important Topics: Important tricks and shortcut formulas must be noted down by the candidates as they learn a topic and revisit it to recall.
  4. Go through the previous year’s questions: The candidates must go through the previous year’s questions to know the type of questions asked in the exam.
  5. Attempt Mock Tests: The candidates must attempt a mock test in a time-bound setup to know the difficulty level of the exam and improve speed and accuracy with time.
  6. Revise and Practice: Revise each topic that you previously learnt. Make sure to practice some questions daily.

Bank Exam Selection Process

The Bank exam selection process consists mainly of 3 stages (Prelims, Mains, and Interview), and some clerical posts consist of 2 stages of selection (Prelims and Mains). While some bank recruitments that require knowledge in a specified field consist of 2 stages, namely an Online examination and an Interview. Also, in some exams number of attempts is limited. Candidates must go through the all available information for the exam they are applying for.

The candidates must know the syllabus for both the prelims and mains exams and prepare accordingly. In some cases Prelims exam is qualifying, and the Mains and Interview marks are counted in the final result. Also, the language proficiency tests is conducted for some posts. Also, the Specialized Officer roles require a degree and work experience in the specific field the candidate is applying. The candidates must check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for any exam.

Banks also have a probation period of 1,2, or 3 years, depending on the recruitment the individual is applying for. They get a salary during the probation period also. The candidate should read the official notification carefully to know salary, perks and allowances, vacancies, etc., before applying for any recruitment.
